Detailed Description:
Only edition of this unusual halakhic work by R. Israel Isar ben Mordecai Isserlin, a dayin in Vilna. The title-page describes Tosefet Yerushalayim as halakhot derived from the Tosefta and Jerusalem Talmud in which no contradictions in the Talmud Bavli and the Shulhan Arukh. Among them are many necessary practical halakhot (halakhah le-ma’aseh). Also, many decisions between achronim that were in doubt and at times serious disputes between them. From the Tosefta and Yerushalmi they can be explained and elucidated. The book is organized by subjects, covering all four parts of the Shulhan Arukh beginning with hanaghot adam be-boker and concluding with nezki mmon. Tosefet Yerushalayim is a very rich and unusual work on halakhot by a dayyan.
