One of only 4 or 5 Hebrew books printed in this city.

 

Detail Description

Commentary on the customs of kabbalah attributed to R. Benjamin Wolf b. Mattisyahu. The work first appeared in Amsterdam 1733, anonymously and was reprinted several times. The work carries approbations of many great Hasidic rabbis in each edition. For a full discussion see article by Israel Halpern in Kiryat Sefer (#34 - 1959).
