Aggadic selections from the Talmud sections of the Hok le-Yisrael by R. Hayyim Vital.

R. Hayyim Vital, the foremost of the disciples of the Ari z”l, advocated textual study as a means to mystical contemplation. This work, intended for study each morning, is a compendium of the Parasha of the week with parts of the prophets and various Mishnayot, sections of Talmud, halakhot for each day of the year, and Kabbalistic literature.
