Detail Description

Letter by R. Abraham Schorr (1899-1945), Judge in Jerusalem, erudite scholar, and author of several scholarly works was the brother-in-law of R. Meir Shapiro of Lublin. Addressed to Dr. David de Sola Pool of the American Joint Distribution, requesting funds, long overdue. R. Schorr suffered adverse poverty and many disappointments, in a lenghty period broadside (not included) he spills his heart.
