Detail Description

R. Jacob b. Solomon Zalman Hurwitz (Horowitz; 1858-1937) preacher and rabbinic scholar. He was born and educated in Lithuanian yeshivot and was a student of R. Isaac Elhanan Spektor. He came to the United States in 1890 and was an itinerant preacher. Ru'ah Ya'akov is a collecton of nine homilies in support of Zionism and Erez Israel.
