The book of life and, Expression of the tongue : the first being a complete formula of the service and family devotion, adapted for the use of the sick, and for those who attend them in their dying moments : the latter being prayers and supplications to be said on visiting the burial ground, Translated by the Rev. B. H. Ascher.

Comprehensive book of prayers for times of need, for the sick and deceased. The text is primarily in vocalized Hebrew, all accompanied by translation on opposite page in English. There are also prayers to be recited at the graveside.
