[2] pp., 234:152 mm., water stained but fully legible, ink on stationary, all by Admor, signed, stamped, and dated.

 

Detail Description

Letter to the Rabbinate in Hafia by Letter by R. Jacob Elimelekh b. Ezekiel Panet, Admor of Des. He suceeded his father as Admor in 1927 and served till the Holocaust, where he perished with his wife and five children. The Admor was an erudite scholar and very active in Transylvania Jewery affairs. His work Zikhron Yaakov was published after the Holocaust (New York 1953).
