First edition of this work on the sages found in Tractate Berachot by  R. Uri Yitzchak Eisig b. Abba Kadosh (d. 1867) dayyan of Brisk and subsequently Jerusalem.

המחבר הדיין מבריסק רבי אורי יצחק אייזיק ב"ר אבא קדש מדייני ירושלים "תוך עמי הייתי יושב מלפנים במנינא דבי רבי מרן הגאון החסיד רבינו יעקב מאיר פאדווא נ"ע. בית וועד ומו"ץ בעוב"י ק"ק בריסק דליטא יע"א. עתה אנכי גר ותושב פה ירושלם" נפטר בירושלים בשנת תרכ"ז. הסכמת רבי יעקב מאיר פאדווא מבריסק משנת תרי"ב. הסכמת קרובו של המחבר רבי יצחק אייזיק חבר משנת תור"ה.
